Meenakshi Thirukkalyanam on April 20 2008

Goddess Meenakshi (incarnation of Parvathi) took birth in Pandya kingdom. After certain period, she wish to marry the Lord Sundareswarar (God of beauty - incarnation of Lord shiva). Such occasion can be celebrated as Meenakshi Sundareswarar Thirukalyanam (marriage) by Madurai people. All of you are welcomed to this festival occasion. It will be held on Friday, April 20, 2008. The Madurai and neighborhood cities and also other state people are coming to participate this festival occasion every year.
